Et une arnaque Paypal depuis l'Italie en plus. Décidément, nos amis transalpins sont très actifs en matière de fraude bancaire.

Le schéma est classique : commande sur ma boutique e-commerce en 2009, paiement via Paypal, puis contestation de la transaction auprès de sa banque une fois que la commande a bien été reçue.

Paypal me contacte et mène une enquête bidon puisque l'argent est confisqué de mon compte (390 euros en fumée) :

It is PayPal's standard practice to dispute unwarranted chargebacks. Using the information you provided, we are in the process of disputing this chargeback with the buyer's card issuer.

Because the card issuer has reversed this charge, PayPal is temporarily holding an amount equal to the disputed funds until this matter is resolved. If the card issuer decides the case in your favor, the funds will be available in your PayPal account.

The credit card company has charged PayPal a settlement fee for this chargeback. In accordance with the terms of the PayPal User Agreement, we have debited your PayPal account to cover this fee.

I have reviewed this chargeback and we disputed on 03/04/2009 and must allow the buyer's credit card company 75 days to respond. I have attached your email to the chargeback case. The funds were first placed on hold while we reviewed the chargeback case. The buyer’s credit card company is now holding the funds during this dispute.

I understand your frustration regarding this matter and regret any inconvenience it might have caused you.
